Manual tracks or automatic Folder Scan

Playlist and Grid can be built manually or generated from a media folder. Folder Scan reads audio files below Joomla /images or /media, groups alternate formats of the same logical track and builds the collection automatically.

ID3 metadata built in

AudioFly can read audio metadata and use it throughout Single Track, Playlist and Grid layouts. Supported detected fields include:

• Title and Artist
• Album and Track Number
• Year and Publisher
• Duration
• Embedded artwork

Detected values remain editable. Manual values act as overrides, so you can automate most of the work without giving up editorial control.

Artwork that follows your workflow

Folder-based tracks can use:

• folder artwork detected beside the audio file;
• embedded ID3 artwork;
• a manually selected image;
• or no artwork.

In Auto mode, explicit folder artwork is preferred before embedded artwork.

Appearance presets for different Joomla templates

Choose a ready-made look or build your own:

• Modern — polished default player with clean source layouts.
• Dark — unified dark Player, Single, Playlist and Grid.
• Light — bright player and source surfaces.
• Grey — neutral graphite/grey presentation.
• Minimal — restrained utility-style player and reduced visual chrome.
• Legacy — preserves the familiar appearance of migrated AudioFly 1.x installations as closely as practical.
• Custom — customize player bar, My Music / Up Next, track rows, accent, text, radius, borders and source surfaces.

Control exactly what metadata appears

Artist, Album, Year, Publisher, Duration and Grid descriptions can be shown or hidden per source type. Keep a Playlist compact, make a Grid information-rich, or build a minimal Single Track card.

Responsive and touch-friendly

AudioFly is designed for desktop and mobile. The Player, My Music / Up Next drawer, source actions and minimized state adapt for touch targets and narrow screens.

Upgrade from the previous AudioFly suite

AudioFly 2 is designed to upgrade the previous AudioFly suite instead of forcing customers to rebuild their site. The old Main Player, Item, Playlist and Grid module instances are converted to the new AudioFly display modes while preserving Joomla module IDs and assignments.

Legacy configuration is retained internally for migration safety, and migrated sources use the Legacy appearance by default.

For eligible legacy installations, Joomla handles the transition through a small compatibility bridge before offering AudioFly 2.0.1. The bridge prepares the modern protected update feed and Download Key support without changing the existing frontend. The 2.0.1 update then performs the module migration.
