FAQ Mode is intended for genuine question-and-answer collections.

3. Layout → Display Layout → FAQ
FAQ Open Behavior
Choose:
Allow multiple answers open
Several answers may remain expanded at the same time.
Only one answer open
Opening a new answer closes the previous one.
Initially Open Answer
Choose:
- All answers closed
- First answer open
A matching Deep Link takes precedence over this initial setting.
FAQ structured data
Schema.org FAQ Structured Data is optional and disabled by default.
When enabled, ES Content Display can output FAQPage JSON-LD for valid FAQ items.
An item is included only when it has:
- a real Title to use as the question; and
- visible answer text from Intro and/or Body.
ES Content Display does not invent questions from fallback labels and does not publish empty answers.
If Intro or Body is hidden in 4. Display, hidden answer content is not silently inserted into the FAQ structured data.
When to enable schema
Enable structured data only when the module genuinely represents a FAQ collection.
Do not enable it merely because an accordion-like interaction is visually convenient.
Structured data describes content semantics; it does not guarantee that a search engine will show a special search-result presentation.
